About
eSaheli Mahila Vikas Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit company established with a singular mission: to empower women through financial independence. We strive to make skill-based education accessible and free for women across India — especially those from Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4 cities, and remote rural areas — so they can take control of their futures, contribute meaningfully to their households, and have a stronger voice in society.
Our flagship initiative involves the free distribution of the eSaheli Saksham Card. This card enables beneficiaries to access high-quality skill development courses hosted on the eSaheli digital platform, developed by our technology partner Riyaansh Edtech Private Limited (REPL).
In a world where opportunity is often gated by geography, affordability, and social norms, eSaheli breaks these barriers and brings skill education directly to every woman’s mobile phone — no matter where she is.

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Mission
The mission of EMVF is to provide underprivileged women with the means, motivation, and mentorship to gain financial independence. This is achieved by making high- quality, vocational, and hobby-based education entirely free and accessible via the eSaheli Saksham Card. By eliminating financial, geographic, and digital literacy barriers, we aim to catalyze an ecosystem of self-employment and skill monetization, enabling women to turn talents into income streams.
Our approach is focused on real-world applicability. Courses offered through our partner platform, eSaheli, are not academic in nature but job-focused and regionally relevant. From beauty and wellness to upcoming areas like fashion design and home- based culinary skills, the curriculum is curated by experts and taught in Marathi — with expansion planned into other regional languages.+
We go beyond just course delivery. Our mission includes organizing on-ground training camps, offering post-course support, and hosting certificate distribution events to boost the confidence and credibility of learners. Through a feedback-based improvement loop and direct engagement with beneficiaries, we continuously fine- tune our programs to maximize impact. Our mission isn’t just to train — it’s to transform, enabling every woman to take her first confident step toward independence and dignity.

Our Vision
At eSaheli Mahila Vikas Foundation (EMVF), our vision is to create a transformative shift in India’s socio-economic landscape by enabling every woman — regardless of caste, geography, income level, or education — to become financially self-sufficient. We believe that empowering women at the grassroots level with practical skills and tools for self-reliance can serve as the foundation for sustainable community development. Our vision is deeply rooted in the belief that when women are economically independent, they are more likely to invest in their families, educate their children, and participate in civic life, contributing to a more equitable and progressive society.
According to a 2021 report by the McKinsey Global Institute, India could add $770 billion to its GDP by 2025 by advancing gender equality. Yet, female labor force participation remains alarmingly low, especially in rural areas, where social norms and structural barriers hinder women’s entry into the workforce. At EMVF, we aim to change this narrative through a digital-first approach that addresses the root causes of inequality — lack of access to affordable skill education, minimal mobility, and social restrictions. By bringing learning to a woman’s fingertips, we eliminate dependency and drive transformation from within communities.
Our long-term vision is to reach and empower at least 10 lakh women across India in the next five years, starting with Tier 2, Tier 3, and rural belts of Maharashtra and gradually scaling nationwide. We don’t just see this as an educational initiative — we view it as a grassroots revolution that uplifts families, builds micro-economies, and strengthens the nation’s economic fabric one empowered woman at a time.
